World Championships 2013

The 2013 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships take place in Helsinki, Finland and Stockholm, Sweden. Russia will be wanted to make a strong impression as the side prepares for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi but all teams will be assessing their opponents in the last competitive tournaments before the games. Teams separated into 2 games with the top 4 of each reaching the next stage. The 2 sides with the worst record with the exception of next years hosts Belarus will be relegated.
