Weekend Preview – Week 19

13preview1

This weekend sees the Bees with a Saturday home game when they take on the new look Telford Tigers at the Hive (6pm faceoff) and a road trip Sunday when they head up to Peterborough to take on the Phantoms (5.30pm faceoff).

We have a special ‘Kids go Free’ promotion for the game this Saturday 18th January v Telford Tigers at The Hive. Children aged 16 and under can go free with a full paying adult, one child per one paying adult (Not to be used in conjunction with any other offers).

Since the Bees last faced the Tigers they have undergone a bit of a transformation and have added a number of players from around the league to their roster.  Recent form has improved off the back of these additions but having lost two of their last three games the Tigers are sure to be looking to get their results back on track when they visit the Hive.   The Bees are coming off the back of a four point weekend with wins away at Slough and home versus Milton Keynes, they will be looking to carry on where they left off last weekend with another solid home performance.

The trip to Peterborough on Sunday evening will be the Bees last this regular season and they will be looking to pick up their first positive result on the Phantoms ice.   The Phantoms too have undergone some significant changes which have also seen an upturn in their results.  It is however only a couple of weeks since the Bees defeated the Phantoms at the Hive so they know what will be required to pick up the points on the road Sunday evening.

The 50/50 raffle and Shirt off a Back raffle both return at Saturday evenings game against the Telford Tigers and the Player signing table returns post game too.

The Shirt Off a Back raffle is for young Bees forward Grant Rounding’s shirt – straight off his back at the end of the game!   The signing table that night will also be manned by Grant and he will be joined by Bees netminder Tom Annetts and defenceman Pavel Strycek so make sure you pop along to the family bar, above the home dressing room, after the game.

Don’t forget that the official match night programme has also undergone a bit of a revamp and “The Buzz” will be available again (priced at £2.50 and in full colour throughout and packed with photos, match reports, articles etc..) – make sure you pick up your copy as the new look is proving popular.

For those that don’t already know as well as the Supporters Club desk in the foyer there is also a Supporters Club sales kiosk at the back of Block 5 (opposite the bar) which stocks a range of merchandise including the new range of T-Shirts and the Bees replica Cup (Yellow) jerseys.   They also have taken delivery of scarf’s, umbrellas, thermos mugs, ice scrapers and more just in time as the weather has already started to change!  The Supporters Club can now also take card payments at the kiosk too.  They have now also taken a delivery of replica Home and Away jerseys too!

Finally those Own & Loan Jersey sponsors who chose the Yellow Cup Jerseys of their favourite player can collect their jersey before this Saturday’s home game if they haven’t already done so.   The shirts will be available from Yvonne Slater in the foyer pre-game.   Please make sure you pop along and collect if you were one of those who chose to sponsor a yellow Cup jersey this season.

There are 7 remaining yellow Cup gameworn jerseys (listed below with special offer prices) and these will also be available to purchase either by emailing ownandloan@bracknellbees.co.uk on a first come, first served basis or by seeing Yvonne Slater, again in reception pre-game this weekend. Cash, cheques and credit cards will be accepted on the night as payment.

3 Nick Mihinnick, 4 Ilya Antonov & 7 Jordan Gregory – £45 each
9 Rob Lamey, 10 James Galazzi, 21 Sam Oakford & 82 Chris Wiggins – £75 each

Hope to see you all there Loud & Proud!
