I have long since lost where the saga of the Coyotes/ Winnipeg saga is upto and with no end in sight it seems True North (potential owners of the new Winnipeg franchise) have eyed up the Atlanta Thrashers just in case.
But are True North not overlooking the Newcastle Vipers. The elite league is desperate to find new owners and Winnipeg is desperate for top flight hockey. Match made in heaven surely.
