Two More Return to The Den
The Dragons welcome back Furnival and Parry in what’s looking like a strong experienced line up as the team returns to the NIHL D2.
Furnival (Simon) brings a wealth of experience and lots of goals to boot having played over 200 times for Deeside both as the Freeze and Dragons scoring more than 120 goals and over 240 points, a big presence both on and off the ice. Assistant coach Marc Lovell who will be spending next weekend taking his L1 coaching course is looking to Furnival to come up with plenty of goals this season ‘It’s good to have Si back with us again this season and we’re hoping he has a big season for us. He’s proved he knows where the net is in the past and hopefully he’ll do the same this year. He’s a big personality in the dressing which is good to have’.
Dragons second signing today is the 25 year old Alex Parry, Pazza is again another guy who’s been around since the days of the Freeze but over the last few seasons has become a vital part of the team, a physical hard working forward who chips in with important goals. ‘Alex is a massive signing for us this year as he’s one of them players that just gets the job done and works hard for the team week in and week out’.
Both guys have their jerseys available for owned & loaned, Si will wear 23 with Pazza 7.
