Tripp calls on team to dig deep against Dundee

Braehead Clan head coach John Tripp has called on his team to dig deep this Saturday when the Dundee Stars come to Braehead Arena (7:00pm face-off).

Following last weekend’s games against Fife, Coventry and Nottingham, the Clan head into this weekend knowing a win over Dundee could increase their gap over the Stars to seven points.

With both teams battling for the final playoff place, it’s a must win game for both clubs with Tripp today indicating his team can get back to winning ways.

“Last weekend was a setback for this club and we need to use our one game this weekend to get back to winning ways” said former German international.

“The point in Nottingham was certainly a positive, but we really were expecting to get something from the games against Fife and Coventry on home ice.

“I’ve told all the guys we must remain focused and positive with the target in sight, it’s time to dig deep and show some fight this Saturday against Dundee.

“A win would be a very important result for us heading into a very critical time of the season as we look to secure a playoff place.”
