Top Tigers tips for a great Coventry weekend

As The Tigers prepare for their first appearance at the Coventry play-off finals, what are the essentials? You know – the merchandise that any self-respecting (or not, for that matter) should be taking to the Skydome. Here, we run down of the essential Tigers items, that are available in The Tigers Team Store.
1 – Thundersticks.
At just 99p, they’re the closest thing you’ll get to a fog horn. Unless you actually buy a fog horn, of course. Hit them together and you’ll make the sort of noise that the vuvuzela never could. Plus, it might just annoy fans of other teams…
2 – Foam stress puck.
Useful for those gripping penalty shoot-outs, when you just want to squeeze something and take the tension away. Careful now. Imagine the surprise when a referee picks one of those up and flings it onto the face-off spot. Amusement all around! Plus, it might just annoy fans of the other teams…
3 – Hats.
They’re essential for any supporter who wants to keep the blazing sun off their head. Especially Thommo. He’ll be modelling one all weekend, outside the Skydome. Plus, it might just annoy fans of the other teams…
3 – Polo shirts.
Be the craziest cat on the Coventry strip with a wonderful black and orange number. When we’re the Liverpool Tigers next season (oops, slipped up there), our shirts will be red and white. Probably. Plus, it might just annoy fans of the other teams…
4 – Championship t-shirt.
We’ve won the double, so why not show off the achievement with a EPL title t-shirt? Plus a hat for the British Challenge Cup! And a beanie. That’ll keep the sun off Thommo’s head. And Tom’s, for that matter. Plus, it WILL DEFINITELY annoy fans of the other teams.
5 – Tigers jersey.
Now, this is the big one. Especially the XXXXL. Show your pride in our team with our classic design – and one that will never go out of date. Remember the title-winning shirt from 1988? See what I mean? Iconic. Plus, remember that bloke who sneaked onto a Manchester United team photo? Karl Power – that’s his name. Google him. Wouldn’t it be cool to do the same thing at Coventry? Actually, don’t. We might sign you up. £40K a week, according to everyone but The Tigers. That might not annoy fans of the other teams, but it will give them a giggle.
Enjoy the weekend!
