The Blackburn Hawks are pleased to announce the signing of forward Thomas Revesz from NIHL 2 side Altrincham Aces.

Tom’s hockey journey started in the Manchester Phoenix junior set up in 2008, then spent time between Trafford Metros, Widnes Wild and Manchester Minotaurs before making the move to the Aces where he stayed until last season when his 18/19 campaign was cut short due to injury.

Thanks to the hard work, effort and determination he has put into his rehabilitation we are delighted to be able to add him to the Blackburn Hawks 19/20 roster where we are sure he will receive a warm welcome from all.

Head Coach James Neil spoke of Tom’s signing:

“I’m glad to have Tom on board with us this season. He had a terrible injury but feels the time is right to step back into the game and has a point to prove. He plays a strong physical game and given the chance around the net he’ll put the puck away.”

Tom commented on his move to the Hawks:

“Glad to be back at hockey after a big injury last season, when I came down to training with the lads I could tell straight away it was something I wanted to be involved in, everyone is going to play and fight for everything and each other this season and I can’t wait to get started.”
