Tigers Welcome #7 Bayley Harewood

Telford Tigers are pleased to welcome GB U20 forward Bayley Harewood
to the roster for the remainder of the 2021/22 NIHL Season. Bayley will be joining
Tigers from Bee IHC on a two way contract with Cardiff Devils.

Telford Tigers head coach Tom Watkins said of the signing “I am delighted to make
this addition to the team, it’s not something we planned and came out the blue but
once we knew Bayley was available we acted quickly to add him to our roster. He’ll
be in the lineup this weekend and we must thank Doug [Sheppard] and the Bees IHC
for processing the transfer quickly.”

Tom went on to say “As a club, We felt he [Bayley] was too big a talent to turn away
from and at just 18 we know he can contribute at this level having watched him
closely in our head to heads with the Bees IHC & his games for GB. He will continue
his two way with the Devils, I spoke to Devils GM Todd Kelman and we both agree
we think Bayley has a good future ahead of him with the right support. We expect
Bayley to contribute positively to our team on and off the ice and we believe we can
help him progress to become a player that can and will play at a higher level. He is
still learning the game and what is required to make him a well-rounded player but
I’m looking forward to working with him.”

Bayley added “I’m very excited to be joining the Telford Tigers and keep
rolling for the rest of the season. Tigers are in a very good position right now in the
league and I’m going to bring everything I can to help the team succeed.”
