Tigers Losing Streak Reaches 5

Telford Tigers losing run reached 5 games after an overtime loss to Bracknell Bees at Telford Ice Rink on Sunday night. Tigers opened the scoring through Jason Silverthorn but  Dominik Gabaj responded for Bracknell. Silverthorn then added a 2nd goal late in the 1st period to put Tigers 2-1 ahead. A goalless 2nd period followed but Tigers conceded late in the 3rd period with Bracknell’s Harvey Stead scoring to force overtime.

Bracknell would win the game in overtime with a goal from Gabaj on a breakaway. Tigers pick up a point in defeat and see their lead at the top of the league cut to 2 points after Swindon beat Basingstoke Bison at home.

Tigers face a huge game next Saturday in Swindon against the 2nd place Wildcats.

Final Score: Telford Tigers 2 Bracknell Bees 3 (after overtime).
