The Giants And Craig Peacock Team Up With Career Sport

The Stena Line Belfast Giants are pleased to announce the continuation of their partnership with Career Sport! Career Sport believe that the Giants represent all the positive factors in promoting fitness and health in their performance on the ice and in their visits to schools to encourage participation in a healthy lifestyle to include physical activities and diet.

Career Sport Fitness Academy partnered with the Giants very own, Colin Shields in 2014 to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Fitness Instructing and Personal Training which a natural progression for a professional athlete to coach and teach fitness. Career Sport Fitness Academy are delighted in 2015 to partner with Craig Peacock, in association with Total Performance Fitness & Colin Shields, to embark on his Level 3 Diploma in Fitness Instructing and Personal Training.

Obesity and Diabetes are very prevalent in schools and colleges in today’s society which the Government has highlighted as an ongoing serious issue that needs to be addressed, through providing education in healthy living through fitness and health.

The Giants had an outstanding 2014 and are the ambassadors of the need for fitness and sport visiting schools to promote this in the community. Career Sport are delighted to support the Belfast Giants in 2015!
