THE FANS HAVE SPOKEN! YELLOW AND BLUE IS BACK AS THE OFFICIAL CLUB COLOURS – AS CHOSEN BY YOU

Oxford City
Stars club colours are confirmed as yellow blue – following a fans’ vote.

Yellow and
blue attracted more than half of the votes entered and will be the colour of
the home kit and overall club identity. It means the away kit will be blue and
yellow.

It was
decided to hold a fans’ poll on the club colours to reach a consensus on the
theme, as the Stars have played in various colours during its history.

Jo Mundy,
Stars director, added: “The response was fantastic and a big thank you to every
supporter who emailed in to cast their vote. A vote was the fairest way
possible for us to really say the new colours are the club’s and colours that
should stay in place.”

Greig Box
Turnbull, Stars director, said: “Yellow and blue won the vote by some margin
and we will now honour the fans’ vote for as long as we are here. We want the
Stars to be an open and accessible community club where supporters’ views are
listened to. As soon as the Board changes were announced we received numerous
messages regarding the club colours and felt the best way forward was to
conduct a fans’ poll.”

Grant Shergold,
Stars director, said: “We appreciate it is not possible to please everybody,
but with yellow and blue achieving more than half the votes we believe we can
now say they are the club colours and we can be proud to say it is the Oxford
City Stars. This is an exciting time for the Stars and with the fans’ vote now
completed we can begin to look at the new kit design, which we will share as
soon as possible.”

AND BLUE: 54%
