Stupka commits to Clan for remainder of season

Glasgow Clan have signed Slovakian forward Vaclav Stupka has signed a contract for the remainder of the 2018/19 season.

 
After an impressive one month try-out, Clan head coach Pete Russell decided over the weekend to offer Stupka an extended contract.
 
Having joined the Clan back in early September, Stupka has already scored 4 goals and assisted on 6 others in only 8 games.
 
“We are delighted to extend Vaclav Stupka’s deal until the end of the season” confirmed head coach Pete Russell.
 
“Vaclav came here on a try-out basis and has been great on and off the ice. He has great speed, energy and a good skill set. He is brave and competes every day.
 
“Vaclav is a true professional and he loves the game. He is experienced and will only get stronger as he gets more accustomed to the style of the league and play.
 
“The guys in the room like him and he has been a great fit for us. We are delighted he is staying with us”.
