Replay of abandoned Dundee Fixture

The Dundee Stars will visit Spectrum on Wednesday, March 21st at 8pm for a re-play of the October 29th game that was abandoned at the end of the 1st period.  Flames season tickets will be valid for the match and it will be offered as an Eagle Radio Kids Go Free evening with complimentary Under 16 tickets available.

“It has taken a fair bit of time to get the logistics right to fit both teams in for a replay,” said Chief Operating Officer Kirk Humphreys.  “Elite League schedules are exceptionally busy from September through March, so there is never an easy, quick fix.  Teams simply don’t plan contingency fixture time or space for potentially unexpected occurrences like this.”

“I think I can speak for Stars also, when I say we are pleased to have been able to get this set up so both teams can have a chance to contest points which look like they will be meaningful no matter what side you are on.”

“We should thank all supporters for patience in waiting for a determination of the plans for this game, and we hope that many can share the evening with us.”
