Parry Stays With The Dragons

The Dragons are delighted to announce the return of Dragons #7 Alex Parry for the 2017/18 NIHL1 Moralee Conference season. Parry re-signs for the Dragons after an injury plagued season that seen him play only half of the 28 league games available to him. Dragons Player/Coach Scott McKenzie will be hoping that Parry can stay healthy for the full schedule of games this year; “Alex is such a gifted hockey player. He scored some big goals for us at key moments but was just unlucky with injuries. I am hoping that Alex can have a break out season and really show his true ability. I expect Alex to play a big role for The Dragons this season. A healthy Alex Parry will almost be like bringing in a new player to us.”

We spoke to Alex earlier about staying at the Dragons.

Deeside has and always will be my home club. Signing for the Dragons again is always rewarding as there’s no other team I’d rather be playing for. I’m really excited for the upcoming season, as it’s going to be the toughest yet. I enjoy fast, physical hockey and can’t wait to be a part of the challenge ahead, knowing all the lads will come together putting in a shift to make for some good hockey.
Alex Parry will continue to wear the #7 jersey, if you would like to Own and Loan Alex’s jersey, you can do so by contacting us by Email
