NEWS: NIHL discipline update

The NIHL disciplinary panel have confirmed the latest player suspensions following major penalties from last weekend’s games.
Cardiff Fire player David Manning was given a Match penalty for spearing in his side’s NIHL South 1 game against Bracknell Bees on October 8. He is suspended for one game and has five penalty points added to his record.
Carl Graham of Bracknell Hornets was assessed a Match penalty for abuse of official in the first period of the NIHL South 2 game with Swindon Wildcats on October 14. He is suspended for three games and has five penalty points added to his record.
Streatham IHC have two players affected this week. Jordan Gregory picked up a Match for slew footing in third period of last Saturday’s game at Basingstoke Bison. He is suspended for two games. Goalie Matthew Colcough was ejected from Sunday’s game against Peterborough Phantoms with a Match penalty for fighting. He is suspended for three games. Both players have five penalty points added to their record.
Finally in NIHL North 1, Nottingham Lions’ Ben Wilson received a Match penalty for an obscene gesture late in the game at Sheffield Steeldogs on Sunday. He is suspended for one game and has five penalty points added to his record.
