Jack’s Back & Raring To Go!

ULTIMATE WINDOWS-sponsored Billingham Stars are doubly delighted to reveal today’s news – the return to health of Jack Davies and that he has decided to put pen to paper and sign up for the coming campaign.

Fans of the Stars will recall that 20-year-old Davies’ season was cut short in January when a slash to the back aggravated an existing condition. This was particularly frustrating as Davies had just begun to find some form, in fact he had just scored his third goal of the season when the incident that led to his long injury layoff occurred.

Now fully recovered, Davies is keen to get back into the thick of the action:

“I never felt like I was 100% last season so I don’t think I was ever at the best I could be. My road to recovery has been a little frustrating but it takes time for things like this to get better.

I think we had a bad start to last season and suffered a lot of injuries but winning the Northern Cup has shown people what we can do and we will do better next season. The ambition for next season is for everyone to stay fit – including myself – and get to the playoffs and win… it’s that’s simple!”

The Stars are understandably delighted that Davies has recovered sufficiently to allow him to resume playing and look forward to seeing him back out on the ice. Watch the site for more news this week as the signings keep on coming!
