Jack returns home
The experienced 23 year old is of course no stranger to a Redskins jersey having made his senior debut for his hometown club back in 2005/06. A spell in the EPL for a season and a half with Bracknell Bees followed and then Jack made his first move to Kent in Dynamos colours in 2008.
A popular player with Invicta since then, aside from a brief return to Streatham in 2010, has seen Tarczycki (Pictured right – by David Trevallion) develop into one of the most consistent members of the Dynamos defensive unit.
Handed the Alternate Captaincy by Coach Kevin Parrish two seasons ago showed just how much Jack has matured as a player despite his relatively young age, and his composed puck handling, transitional play and excellent positional sense make him a great competitor at this level, not to mention his willingness to put his body on the line for his team.
The Sutton born blue liner hit the headlines last season as he memorably donned the pads midway through a Dynamos game in Bracknell and steered his team to victory replacing injured goalie Andy Moffat.
Hopefully Streatham will have no need for the same heroics this year but much will be expected of the talented defenceman in his natural position.
“Phil Manny won’t be coming back for next season because of work commitments so we needed a good defenceman and Jack is a very good playerâ€
“He’ll also add to the chemistry in the room and the boys are all happy he’s back. Basically Jack’s back and everyone is happyâ€
Jack Tarczycki’s jersey number is unconfirmed as yet for this season but you can have your name on his home jersey, then keep it at the end of the season thanks to our own and loan scheme.
