Week one of our  “Hawks in the Community” programme has now finished.

Project manager Chris Riley has been to St. Annes Primary school, St. Matthews Primary school and St. James Lower Darwen Primary school, delivering school school assemblies and giving young people a look into the Hawks and our commitment to our young fans.

Chris was supported by players, Danielius Nomanovas and Niks Trapans. Both players gave their audience a fascinating insight into ice hockey and what it is like to represent the Hawks. We also had the pleasure of Harry the Hawk, who provided lots of fun and mischief.

The support of the players and Harry is an integral part of the project.

If you have any contacts within schools in the area please feel free to contact Chris to arrange a visit.
