Have your say in the club colours
Oxford City Stars have launched a fans poll to select the club’s colours
The Stars who have played in various colours over the years have opened the decision on its identity to the supporters.
Greig Box Turnbull, Stars’ director, said: “We want to make the Stars an open and inclusive club where supporters’ views are listened to and where possible implemented.
“And what better way than by sharing the decision on what colour the kit should be.”
Jo Mundy, Stars’ director added: “The club has played in different colours during its history and we’d like to gather feedback on which colour the fans really want. Ultimately, it’s the fans’ club and we want to open this up so everyone can have a say. We won’t be able to please everybody, but this way we can gather the consensus and make it as fair and open as possible.
“This is an important decision, as we want to play in a kit and colour that we can all be proud of and that we can truly say is the Oxford City Stars.”
Supporters can vote by emailing email@example.com
The poll is:
Yellow and Blue
White and Green
Gold and Black
White and Grey
Green and Black
Grey and Black
Or something else (please state preferred option).
The colours would be for the home kit and the away kit being the reverse of the home.
The deadline for voting is midnight on Sunday June 2nd and supporters have one vote each, please put ‘colour vote’ in the title of the email. The colour with the highest number of votes will be selected.
