Gordon Cameron Named Spirit of NI Education Winner

Gordon Cameron, Schools Co-Ordinator of the Stena Line Belfast Giants, has been named the Spirit of Education winner at the 2017 Sunday Life’s Spirit of Northern Ireland Awards.

Gordie was nominated by the organisation and the judging panel awarded him a finalist spot at the sell-out Gala event at the Culloden Hotel on Friday 16th June and the highlights will be broadcast on UTV this Wednesday, 21st June.

Gordon is responsible for making the Giants’ Subway Healthy Lifestyle programme run smoothly year on year and it is through his hard work and commitment that thousands of primary school pupils get the to meet their ice hockey heroes as well as hear about the advantages of a healthy lifestyle.

Well done Gordie!
