Giants Undefeated Streak Ends In Fife

The Stena Line Belfast Giants fell to their first defeat in regulation time since 3rd December 2013 with a 6-2 loss to the Fife Flyers on Saturday night. Fife’s win, their eights in eleven games, was much needed in their push for a Playoff position and leaves the gap between 6th-9th in the Elite League at only three points. Head Coach Paul Adey awarded the Giants netminding duties to Northern Ireland’s Andrew Dickson however despite turning away 18 shots, he and his teammates could not prevent the Flyers taking the two points on offer in Scotland.

The Giants return to action on Sunday, against the Braehead Clan at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, face-off 4pm. Good seats are still available and can be bought from the Odyssey Arena Box Office in person or by calling (028) 9073 9074. Fans can also choose their seats and print tickets online at Ticketmaster.
