Giants Road Trip To England And Scotland: The Numbers

For the next three games, the Stena Line Belfast Giants go on the road to face the Nottingham Panthers (Friday), Braehead Clan (Saturday) and the Fife Flyers (Tuesday). The Giants are unbeaten in the league since 6th February and won their last road game, 2-1, against the Coventry Blaze last Saturday with a late winning goal from Mitch Ganzak.

The Giants road form this season ranks them third overall in the Elite League, with 24 points from 21 games, only bettered by the league’s top two sides – the Cardiff Devils and Sheffield Steelers.

As it stands, the Giants lie in fifth place tied on 53 points with the fourth placed Braehead Clan, having played one game less than their Scottish rivals, and three points behind the Nottingham Panthers in third spot.
