Giants Pack A Punch As Barnes And Burnett Drop The Puck

The Stena Line Belfast Giants were delighted to welcome two local boxing heroes to Tuesday’s important Challenge Cup Quarter Final clash vs Fife Flyers at The SSE Arena. The boxers certainly helped the Giants pack a punch with the team advancing to the Semi-Final thanks to a 7-0 win.

Both Paddy Barnes and Ryan Burnett accepted the invitation from Coach Keefe to attend the game and conduct the ceremonial face-off ahead of the cup clash.

Paddy Barnes, MBE has held the WBO European and Inter-Continental flyweight titles since 2017 and Ryan Burnett is currently a unified bantamweight world champion, having held the WBA and IBF titles since 2017.
