Giants Expecting Biggest Crowd Of The Season

General Manager Todd Kelman confirmed earlier today that Saturday’s clash with the Sheffield Steelers will be the biggest home crowd of the season so far.

“Looking at the box office figures this morning, I would expect we will be well over the 5,000 mark,” said Kelman, “I suggest that fans coming to the Odyssey leave earlier than normal to avoid car park and box office queues.”

The Box Office is expecting their biggest walk up crowd of the season as well, so if you want to avoid standing in line, you can buy your tickets all day Friday up to 6pm and then from 10am on Saturday in person at the Odyssey Arena Box Office or buy anytime online from and print out your ticket just like you do with your boarding passes for airlines these days.

“The puck is dropping at our normal face off time, we won’t be delaying the game because of queues in the carpark but we want everyone in their seats to avoid missing a second of the most anticipated game of the season so far. Make sure and leave extra time to get parked and into your seat for 7pm. I would suggest giving yourself an extra 30 to 45 minutes than your normal game day plan.”

If you want to really avoid the queues, why not join Kelman for his regular pre-game open mic chat with players and other special guests from 5pm in McCools, located inside the Odyssey Arena. Entrance is via the MEDIA DOOR at the front of the Odyssey Arena, just look for the big sign above the door that reads MEDIA / HOSPITALITY. Pints are only £3.70 and the doors open at 5:00pm.
