Forth Derby Kicks Off
For those of you thinking that the last game of a season between two sides that have missed the playoffs means nothing then you need to take a look at the action from the Fife Flyers visit to the Edinburgh Capitals from Sunday night. There was certainly nothing left out there following this contest and the rival between the two sides is certainly as alive as always.

This is action from the third period that followed a second period in which 3 players had already headed to the dressing room early. In total there were 309 penalty minutes and 7 players plus the Fife Flyers coach and trainer were ejected from the game.
Perhaps Sheffield and Nottingham may need to watch out as their rivalry may be on the verge of becoming tame in comparison. By the way there was some hockey played and the Edinburgh Capitals won the tie 11 -3.
