Football Fans Get 2 for 1 Entry Against Swindon Wildcats

Oxford United and Oxford City season tickets holders and members of United’s supporters’ trust, Oxvox, are eligible for the offer.

To celebrate the occasion Oxford United legend James Constable will be attending the match as the Stars Guest of Honour.

Beano, as he is fondly known, is one of Oxford United’s all time highest goal scorers and scored both goals as the U’s beat Swindon 2-1 in 2011 to win at the County Ground.

He regularly watched the Stars when he played for United.

James said: “I’m looking forward to coming back and seeing everyone again for what should be a great occasion.”

The City Stars are top of the NIHL division 2 South table and are hoping for another big attendance at Oxpens – after last weekend’s 1,000 sell-out crowd.

As part of the Oxfordshire United partnership members of the Oxford United in the Community team will also attend the match, as guests of the Stars.

Scores of pupils from the West Kidlington Primary School will also attend, as part of a community partnership with the school, club and the Sheehan Group. The partnership will see the Sheehan Group and Stars deliver a programme of recycling based educational sessions at the school.

Face off is at 6.15pm on Sunday February 25th. United and City season ticket holders can take advantage of the offer by presenting their season tickets at the turnstile and Oxvox members by showing their membership card.
