The fire flyers forward has come to play his first season in the eihl after 3 years in the echl. So far so good as he is toed.for 1stnin points, recording 7 goals and 9 assists for 16 points in 13 games.

Mc Nicholas is a very good 200 foot player. He is most effective creating offense, but not so about backchecking and breaking up a play on defense.

Producing offense is nothing new to mcnicholas. Before turning pro he had 23 goals and 46 assists for 69 points in 56 games with the BCHL Vernon vipers

Turning pro did not change his confidence. He set a career-high in points, producing 13 goals and 40 assists for 53 points in 65 games while with the Maine Mariners of the ECHL.

As a gifted.offensive.player his best attribute is his slick playmaking ability. His pucl handling skills are nothing short of excellent, which make his teammates better.

McNicholas is an elite scorer who could very well lead the EIHL in scoring this year. Equipped with outstanding players around him he could dominate this season.

McNicholas turned pro after his NCAA with the University of New Hampshire was over. The 27-year-old is one of the more accurate shooters in the league and has specific shots that case rebounds for his teammates.

Another attribute McNicholas has is he adds a little sandpaper to his game as well. He does not drop the gloves often bit when he does he can throw them.

The Fife Flyers currently sit 8th overall and are trying to make up some ground before it’s too late. With Nicholas the team is never out of it and can make up ground quickly.

Before turning pro, McNicholas thrived in the playoffs with 2 playoff appearances. With the 2012-13 Nanaimo Clippers and the 2013-14 Vernon Vipers he has accumulated 5 goals and 14 assists for 19 points in 23 games.

He is not opposed to doing it again in the playoffs this season either. McNicholas will score at will, regardless of what time of the season or the opponent.

McNicholas also played for the ECHL’s Maine Mariners for a short time. Despite only playing there a short time he is the franchise leader in points with 91, assists with 67 and games played with 125.
