FLAMES RETAIN POTTS WHO WILL COMPLETE A DECADE AT THE SIDE

Stuart Potts continues his ascent into the longevity elite as far as the Guildford Flames ice hockey club is concerned.  The 5‘7″, 175lb forward will become just the 4th player in team history to ice a 10th season at the side.  During their repeat ‘double’, the 31 year old crossed the 500 game barrier while scoring 6 goals and 15 assists to bring his career club total to 357 points from 107 goals and 250 assists. Including his best offensive season, when he had 77 points during the 2007-2008 league title run, the Durham native ranks 11th on the team’s historical offensive charts, just 24 points back of a top 10 slot.
