Fire tie first leg in Peterborough

Cardiff Fire came away from Peterborough with a 1-1 tie setting up and exciting final game of the semi final tomorrow a ice arena Wales.

Andrew Davies opened the scoring with a shot from the point beating Lane in the Islanders goal. The opening period was a fast and physical encounter, the traveling Fire fans made a lot of noise and were an imposing presence for the entire 60 mins.

Connor stokes levelled the scoring at 29mins with a back door scramble following a turnover on the Fire blue line. Peterborough tried their best to get the go ahead goal but Fire’s defensive play and the excellent Joe Myers kept the Islanders out.

All the play for at ice Arena Wales tomorrow night. 6pm face off
