Event: 2017 Centennial Classic

ML16-211_CRM_644x396px-v2Hockey is coming home in many ways in 2017. For the first time the new years day game will be played in Canada as the Toronto Maple Leafs celebrate the 100th year of their franchise by hosting the Detroit Red Wings at BMO Field. The name will not be Winter Classic though it is.

Venue : BMO Field is located in the Exhibition arena of downtown Toronto on the shores of Lake Ontario, close to the Skydome and Air Canada Centre. It is the home to Toronto FC and is once again home to the Toronto Argonauts.

Tickets: Tickets will be very hard to get and can expect to pay over the face value for them.

Where to Stay: Toronto’s downtown is home to many hotels and is served by a metro system that means you can travel whilst avoiding the bitter winter outside.
