Essential Guide: Giants vs Lightning This Saturday In Belfast!

This Saturday the Stena Line Belfast Giants are back in action with a home cross-conference clash against the Milton Keynes Lightning.

A large crowd is expected on Saturday at the SSE Arena for the 7pm face off (Doors 6pm) so fans are encouraged to get to the arena early. For anyone planning on redeeming Flexi Vouchers for Saturday, we encourage you to make your way down to the Box Office well in advance of the face off time.

Keep an eye out for the Sub Cannon launching Footlong Subway Sandwiches during the first intermission! We will also be giving away TGI Fridays vouchers, Dale Farm Ice-Cream, W5 Family Passes, Odyssey Cinema vouchers and much more throughout the match.

Remember to make some noise and you just might win the Pizza Hut Fan of the Match and win a delicious Pizza Hut pizza. You can call in for your very own Pizza Hut meal after the game – they are located in the Odyssey Pavilion next to the Arena.

Game Night Prizes

You could win some GIANT prizes at this weekend’s game with our Chuck-A-Puck, 50/50 AND Shirt Off The Back contests!

Chuck-A-Puck: Chuck your (foam!) pucks onto the ice during the intermission right after the 2nd period and the closest THREE pucks to centre-ice will win!

With a 1st prize of a trip for 2 to Scotland thanks to Stena Line, 2nd prize of a signed jersey and a 3rd prize of a family pass to the Giants game of your choice! Chuck-A-Pucks will be on sale all night for £1 each.

50/50: WIN a GIANT cash prize this Saturday! At last Saturday’s game vs Sheffield, our winner collected a prize worth £1,551!

Tickets for 50/50 are on sale from doors open for £1 each, 5 for £3, 10 for £5, 30 for £10 with 50% of the total prize fund awarded to one lucky winner at the end of the game. Remember – the more you buy, the more GIANT the prize!

Shirt Off The Back: WIN your very own Belfast Giants game worn jersey! This Saturday you have plenty of chances win with four jerseys up for grabs both games. Tickets are £2 for 1, £5 for 5, £10 for 15 and £20 for 40. 

Post-Game

There will be no post-game autograph signing after this Saturday’s game as the team are travelling to Cardiff for Sunday’s Challenge Cup Final. Post-Game signings will return on Saturday 10th March vs Braehead Clan.

Fanzone

Make sure to check out the Fanzone, located on ‘The Bridge’ at the east end of the Arena. Chocallure will be there with their warm belgian chocolate chocolate cups and you can also take advantage of special Fanzone offers from the Food & Beverage Cart.

Dale Farm’s famous (& tasty!) milkshakes, only £3 each, are back on Saturday – available at selected stands around the Arena.
