Connor Henderson back for the new season
Connor is a product of the SSJIHC development program and he then went to North America to continue his development before returning home to play a major part in the Sharks success last year.
He is a GB U18 and U20 international and is currently also training and playing with Braehead Clan as part of their pre-season preparations.
Connor returns after contributing thirty-two points last season and his speed, skill and ability to play under pressure will be a huge asset to the team once again this year.
Sharks Head Coach Martin Grubb commented “I am delighted that we have been able to bring Connor back again as he is someone who played a huge part last year. He is very skilled and also works hard every shift and the line with Dan and Moorey was very dangerous last year. I’m pleased he’s been training and playing with the Clan in pre season and I know it will help Connor continue to improve and we will get the benefit of that.”
Connor commented “I am happy to be back for the season ahead after a good season last year and I am focussed on helping the team to success again. We have a good team and everyone contributes and I am excited to get started. It’s been great being able to be part of Braehead’s pre season and I hope to take that into our NIHL season”.
Connor will return to his #25 shirt and will line up this weekend against the Steeldogs.
