Telford Tigers travel to the Guildford Spectrum to take on the Flames, Sunday 26th January 2014“There’s no lack of belief in this dressing room” – that’s the rallying cry from Telford Tigers coach Tom Watkins as he prepares for Sunday’s trip to Guildford Flames.

The Surrey outfit have suffered a relatively poor start to 2014, losing 6-3 to bottom side Peterborough Phantoms and 5-2 to Swindon Wildcats.

Watkins believes the confidence running through his squad will offer a timely boost on Sunday, against a Flames side that nevertheless remains in contention for the EPL title.

He said: “We’ve got to remember that Guildford have still got a lot of quality players in their side, even though they have had a couple of injuries.

“It will be interesting, as it is the first time we will have played them since a lot of the new players have come in to our line-up.

“They have had a tough run of late, but every side goes through that.
