Clan welcome four teams to Glasgow for Summer Series

Clan are delighted to announce a bumper Summer Series to start the new 2018/19 season in August.

New Clan head coach Pete Russell will lead his team into action at Braehead Arena against four exciting foreign visitors.
The first to visit will be Fischtown Pinguins (Bremerhaven) of the German DEL on Saturday 18th August, with Dresden Eislöwen of the German DEL2 visiting 24 hours later on Sunday 19th August.
French Ligue Magnus club Lyon Lions are the third visitors to Braehead Arena on Saturday 25th August, with seven time Norwegian Champions, the Stavanger Oilers visiting on Sunday 26th August.

Clan Hockey & Operations Director Gareth Chalmers commented: “We are delighted we have been able to entice four quality teams to Glasgow for our 2018/19 pre-season schedule. After the success of Frankfurt’s visit last year, we wanted to provide the loyal Purple Army with an exciting and diverse start to the new season.
“I would like to thank Alfred Prey (Fischtown), Volker Schnabel (Dresden), Sebastien Berthet (Lyon) and Pal Haukali Higson (Stavanger) for working with us to make these games a possibility. We’re looking forward to welcoming all the teams, their management, staff, players, sponsors and most importantly fans to Glasgow.”
