Clan suffer double injury blow ahead of playoffs

The Glasgow Clan have been hit by a double injury blow ahead of this weekend’s playoff 1/4 finals against the Guildford Flames.

Following Sunday’s hit by Fife Flyers forward Brett Bulmer, Brendan Connolly has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a lower body injury.

The ensuing hit saw Bulmer handed with a 3 game ban by the EIHL’s Department of Player Safety.

Furthermore, British forward Jack Musil has attended hospital today after picking up an upper body injury in training this morning, which has ruled the 25-year-old out of the playoffs.
