Clan sign energy forward Scott Tanski

Braehead Clan are delighted to announce the signing of Canadian forward Scott Tanski for the 2018/19 season.

The 28-year-old, Alberta native, joins Pete Russell’s new look Clan team from the ECHL’s Reading Royals.

Tanski also played for the AHL’s Connecticut Whale plus the ECHL’s Orlando Solar Bears and South Carolina Stingrays during his seven year pro career.

“I am delighted to add energy forward Scott Tanski to our line-up for the new season” confirmed head coach Pete Russell.

“All the feedback I’ve had regarding Scott, has been nothing but positive on and off the ice.

“He is a good skater, works hard every shift and plays with high energy levels. Scott plays direct and gets his rewards for his hard work, and playing with power.

“Scott is a two way guy and a team guy first. He is the perfect depth guy and will make our team better.

“Off the ice Scott is a great guy, is awesome in the room and a player I know the Purple Army will love. He is a larger than life character.

“I believe Scott’s game will be suited to the EIHL and he will be effective at both end of the ice.”

Tanski becomes the eleventh player to sign for the Clan.
