Clan bolstered by Beca return

Glasgow Clan have been bolstered by the news that Canadian forward Matt Beca will return to line-up this weekend.

The Clan face the Fife Flyers at Braehead Arena on Saturday (7:00pm face-off), before travelling down to the West Midlands on Sunday to play the Coventry Blaze (5:30pm).
Player-assistant coach Beca has been out of action for almost seven weeks now, after sustaining a lower body injury at a game in Cardiff during mid September.
Despite losing his assistant on the bench, Clan head coach Zack Fitzgerald is delighted to have Beca back on his team sheet.
“It’s massive to have Beca back” confirmed Fitzgerald. “A very skilled, patient player maker who has missed some significant time out through injury.
“It’s exciting to have him back in the team and he’ll certainly add even to our already impressive offensive unit.
“He aided me big time on the bench, but is needed more on the ice and ultimately makes our line-up an even bigger threat.”
Forward Scott Tanski remains out with a lower body injury and is currently being assessed day to day by the club’s medical team.
