Chittock released

Our recent release regarding Ross Connolly spoke of the difficult work / hockey balance for some of the team and on that note we can now announce that Bailey Chittock has decided to step down from Raiders duties.

Bailey cites increased work as having a role in his decision and a desire to get increased ice time when he is able to play. He is full of praise for the Raiders fans however when he explains:-

“I also hope to be back wearing a Raiders Jersey in the future…….. and the fans are easily the best fans in the league and were always supportive no matter what.”

We would like to thank Bailey for his efforts. He has been through a lot of pain for the Raiders in the last couple of season with face and shoulder injuries and tried to play through that most serious of ailments “man flu” just before Christmas which we know the ladies out there just wont understand.

Hopefully we can welcome him back in the near future and wish him well with his on and off ice exploits.

That thank-you extends to Ivan and Rebecca and we hope we will still see them at games when they are able.
