The Glasgow Clan will take on Dundee Stars in a King’s Inch Cup match which will serve as a pre-season warm-up.

The game will take place on Wednesday 3rd November, with a face off set for 7.30pm as the new-look team, under new coach Malcolm Cameron, will play together for the first time.

Steelers Add Blueline Size

e Sheffield Steelers have signed a former NHL defenseman to give their blue line some size. Coming on board is NHL veteran Keaton Ellerby.

The Steelers signed Ellerby because of the work he does at his end of the ice, his experience and his toughness. Although not a big fighting defenseman he does the dirty work and plays a physical game. Enough to keep the opposition honest. He will not hesitate to stick up for teammates but does not cross the line.

Stevenson delighted by Cameron reunion

The Glasgow Clan are delighted to announce the signing of Canadian forward Dyson Stevenson

The 28-year-old will be making his first move outside North America as he gets ready to come to Glasgow and help the Clan in their Elite League push this season.

Watters Returns Returns to the Flames

The Flames leading goal getter from 2019-2020, Ian Watters, will make his return to Spectrum when the club gets back to activity after the pandemic delay.  The 29-year-old had 50 points and topped the club with 32 goals during 2019-2020 and was the only squad member to reach 30+ strikes.  Since joining Flames to start the 2017-2018 set, Watters has iced in 188 games while recording 102 goals and 85 assists. 

Defensive rock Brock joins the Clan

The Glasgow Clan are delighted to announce the signing of Canadian defenceman Brock Beukeboom.

The 29-year-old has committed to what will be his fourth season in Europe, after two in Denmark and one in Hungary.

Blaze add forward Penny

Coventry Blaze are pleased to confirm the signing of 26-year-old forward Ryan Penny. Penny iced and scored for Team Canada in the 2021 Ice Hockey Classic against Team USA in Toronto on Saturday night, assisted by new teammate in Coventry Johnny Curran.

Ferguson ready for Clan education

Glasgow Clan are delighted to announce the signing of Scottish forward Harry Ferguson.

The promising 22-year-old is returning to the top flight after spending the last three years in the NIHL, with Peterborough Phantoms, MK Lightning and MK Thunder.

Now he says he’s keen to learn from the Clan head coach Malcolm Cameron and believes his move back to Scotland was one he couldn’t turn down.

Bloodoff back for Blaze

The Coventry Blaze are delighted to announce the return of 30-year-old forward Evan Bloodoff for the 2021/22 season.

It will be the Canadian’s second year in Coventry and fourth in the Elite League, having originally joined the Blaze from Scottish side Fife Flyers.
