Bulldogs Head West for a Wild Experience

WvHull-13Wild were expected to play a double header this weekend, but due to unexpected circumstances the game away to Hull has been cancelled, however the Wild will still welcome the Bradford Bulldogs to Silver Blades ice rink on Sunday for a 17:30 face off.

After a well-deserved win against league leaders Nottingham Lions last weekend, the Wild are now sitting in third on ten points, two behind Deeside Dragons and just five behind the table toppers who have played three more games than the Wild.

Although Bradford Bulldogs are bottom of the league with one win from the nine games they have already played, the majority of those games have been very close and the Bulldogs underlined just how dangerous with very close games against the Lions, the Eagles and the Jets.  Whilst the Wild won away at Bradford 12-2 when the teams met at the end of September and will be hoping for a repeat result they won’t be taking anything for granted.

Wild Head Coach, Scott McKenzie said;

“Bradford are a well-coached team with some talented players.  They feature a great net minder in the shape of former Wild player Nicole Jackson and they will be travelling to Widnes in order to secure the win”.

Ticket prices for the home game are £6 for adults and £3 for concession. If you can’t make the trip to the games, then don’t forget the Wild’s official Twitter account @WidnesWild  will keep you informed with score updates and play by play updates.
