Brooks looking to bring festive cheer to Purple Army

Clan forward Brendan Brooks has today said that he and the team are looking to bring some festive cheer to the Purple Army with a win against the Cardiff Devils this Friday.

The current EIHL champions are the visitors to Braehead Arena as the Clan look to start clawing their way back up the EIHL table.
Brooks believes a win against Cardiff could be the catalyst for building momentum over the tough Christmas period.
“Cardiff are one of the best teams in the league and are obviously the reigning EIHL champions” said the Great Britain international.
“It’s a big home game for us and following last Saturday’s disappointing defeat to Guildford, we really want to get back to winning way on home ice.
“The whole organisation wants to get the win tomorrow night that will hopefully start a good run of results over the festive period.
“It’s a big game, we want to start Christmas off for the Purple Army with a bang. With them right behind us we can get a big win and a valuable two points.”
