Brodie Jesson Returns to Telford Tigers

Telford Tigers are pleased to announce the return of 21-year-old forward Brodie Jesson for the remainder of the 2021/22 season.

Brodie will return to his boyhood club after a little time away from the ice in Telford and will wear the #61 shirt. Having iced through the age ranges for Telford Tigers junior sides, Jesson spent 2019-20
mixing NIHL National duties with Milton Keynes Lightning and Leeds Chiefs. He also found
time for a few games in the NIHL 2 Laidler Conference with Telford Tigers 2 where he averaged a goal a game. More recently he has been icing for Solihull Barons.

On the confirmation of his return Brodie said “I’m really excited to be back with the Tigers
for the rest of the season after a short while away from the club. I’ve missed playing at home
and can’t wait to get going again with the boys.”

Telford Tigers head coach Tom Watkins is pleased to have signed Brodie for the remainder
of the season commenting “We’ve been on the lookout for a replacement since Dan Mitchell
stepped down and I’m looking forward to welcoming Brodie back to Telford. I believe when
Brodie chose to move onto MK it was the right decision for him at the time, a decision we
respected, sadly things didn’t work out for him, but we stayed in touch, and he was always
keen to return. The timing is right now for us as a club, and we believe we are getting a more
mature player and person from the one that left. We know the rigours of this league you are
always carrying injuries and we will be losing 3 players in December for 3 games to the GB
20’s so adding a player is very important for us. Brodie will be back on the ice with us this
week.”
