Bring a teddy to toss
The team will be visiting the children’s ward at the JR this Christmas – we want as many presents to give them as possible, and let’s be honest, who doesn’t like a teddy?
The plan is simple:
Bring a fluffy new teddy to the Streatham game this Sunday (wrap it in a clear plastic bag – it’ll be clear why in a moment).
For every teddy you bring, you get a ticket entered into a draw to win a season ticket for the remainder of this season – the more teddies you bring, the more times your name goes in the hat!
We’ll be arranging a teddy toss onto the ice (hence the plastic wrapping!) – listen out to the matchday announcer Ollie on Sunday, he’ll explain how it will work.
We’ll then collect all the teddies up and the team will give them out to kids on the hospital wards this Christmas.
The more teddies we have, the more kids we can help cheer up. Â We’ll also have some buckets rattling around for you to chuck in a donation, so we can buy some more toys for the kids, so please dig deep and give what you can.
