Blueliner Games of the Day: Sunday 10th February

Domestically there is again a reduced calender but there are still plenty of big games to keep you occupied and cheer you up after GB’s loss to Kazakhstan. Of course if you still have the international bug the big game in the Olympic Qualification this afternoon is Germany v Austria.

Elite League

The Braehead Clan travel to the Skydome to face the Coventry Blaze for the first time since that challenge cup meeting. It is bound to provide some fireworks with many unsettled scores. Elsewhere though there is a Forth derby clash at the Murrayfield Ice Rink.

 

English Premier League

There are two stand out ties as the Guildford Flames continue there hunt of the Basingstoke Bison with a trip to the hanger to face the Slough Jets who scored 8 in Sheffield last night. Another side that scored 8 the Milton Keynes Lightning will face the side that received that 8 last night the Bracknell Bees in a rematch at the Hive.

 

National League

In the National League the headline tie is at the National Ice Centre in Nottingham as the top of NIHL2 North Lions face second placed Deeside Dragons. In NIHL1 North though second place Billingham host fourth placed Blackburn in a repeat of last season playoff final. In NIHL1 South the top three sides all in action in a night that could see plenty of movement.
