Blueliner Games of Day Saturday 9th February

With the GB squad away in Latvia their a fewer games affecting the top of the EIHL. However it is an excellent opportunity to showcase some games further down the ladder. In our games of the day to watch out for.

In the Elite League all the action today is concentrated on the Gardiner Conference teams. Watch out for Braehead Clan and Edinburgh Capitals and Hull Stingrays and Dundee Stars. The results of these games could change the make up of the bottom half of the Elite League table and decide who will make the playoffs and who will hit the golf course.

English Premier League

The big game in the EPL will be at the Spectrum in Guildford. Third placed Manchester without head coach Tony Hand will take on second place Guildford who will be looking to bounce back from an unlikely defeat on Sunday night. Also watch out for Milton Keynes and Bracknell for a game that could go either way tonight.

National League

Not that many games happening in the National League tonight but Romford Raiders trip to Cardiff in South 1 is one not to missed. Third placed Romford will be looking for 2 points to close the gap to the top of table. There is also a solent derby clash in North 1 as Wightlink Raiders take the short trip to Portsmouth to face Solent & Gosport. Elsewhere watch out for the South 2 games. With 5 teams separated by 2 points there could be a lot of movement especially as Slough Jets take on the Chelmsford Warriors.
