Bjerrum back for season two

Glasgow Clan are delighted to announce the re-signing of Danish forward Rasmus Bjerrum for the 2019/20 season.

The 27-year-old returns for his second season having joined last summer from Danish club Odense Bulldogs, where he had spent the previous five season’s.
Rasmus thrived in his first year abroad scoring 17 and assisting on 34 in 72 games for the Clan.
Head Coach Pete Russell is delighted to welcome back Rasmus, who he said the club had faced competition from other clubs in Europe for the signature:
“I am delighted Rasmus has agreed to sign back with us for 2019/20.” confirmed head coach Pete Russell.
“He was a real find for us last summer and certainly turned a lot of heads during the season.
“Rasmus was another important part of our core group of guys, with the priority being to keep that group together.
“He had a lot of interest in Europe, so we are delighted he is going to play another season in Glasgow.”
Rasmus will again wear #16 for the Clan.
Rasmus is the 6th signing so far for Clan in 2019/20 after Patrick Killeen, Scott Tanski, Craig Moore, Scott Pitt and Matt Stanisz have already joined the Clan for the 2019/20 season.

Neil Tucker

Neil has written on ice hockey for many websites concentrating on British ice hockey mostly. Neil also covers ice hockey in other countries and organises his Blueliner Hockey Tour. A graduate of the Manchester Metropolitan University Neil turned his hand to hockey writing in 2009.
