Bees for Valour scheme unveiled

Bees for Valour

The Bracknell Bees are delighted to announce a home game ticketing scheme to recognise those in the community who serve the country in the armed forces.

Bees for Valour will extend the ticket offer, Value for Valour, already in place for army personnel and their families to any individual, and their families working in any of the armed forces.

“The Bracknell Bees are already ardent supporters of the Value for Valour scheme,” stated Ben Beeching, General Manager. “Announcing Bees for Valour is our chance to recognise those who play such a vital role in the community and beyond. There will be home games dedicated to the Bees for Valour initiative highlighting the role such people play in the community and beyond. We hope to work to raise monies for those charities supporting our heroes, as well as giving them the opportunity to enjoy some top class ice hockey action with their friends and families.”

The key highlights of the Supporting Our Heroes initiative are:

  • 2-for-1 offer on any home match night ticket for any individual and their family
  • Home games opportunities to donate to supporting charities
  • Supporting Our Heroes merchandise to raise profile and monies

“I am delighted that the Bees are associated with Bees for Valour,” commented Beeching. “We have many supporters who are either in the armed forces. The reduced ticket admission price rewards their efforts and reinforces how serious we take the Bees’ role in the community.”

Bees for Valour will be in place for the Bees match against the Slough Jets on 29th September, and thereafter for every home league and cup game throughout the 2013/14 season.

Match night tickets purchased under the Bees for Valour ticket purchase scheme must be made before midday of the Thursday of any weekend the tickets are being purchased for, and then collected on game night showing valid identification.

Tickets may be purchased from the box office at the ice rink or by calling the ticket hotline on 01344 789000.
