Be part of The Storm

Are you interested in becoming a volunteer for the Manchester Storm? If so, then why not come along to a volunteer recruitment evening being held on Wednesday 15th July 2015, at the Cresta Hotel, Altrincham starting at 7:30pm.
The Storm has a variety of volunteer roles on offer and is in need of enthusiastic people looking to be part of the Storm legend.
We’re is looking for people with a variety of abilities as its volunteering roles can be tailored to suit individual skills. Roles will include running the penalty boxes, welcoming fans, selling programmes, contributing to social media, helping the players adjust to living in Greater Manchester etc.

Every volunteer will receive full training. Training will start with matching skills and abilities to the most appropriate role, moving through to role-specific training, ensuring our volunteers are fully prepared be the face of the Storm.
As well as providing training for our volunteers we will provide official Storm wear and of course volunteers will get free entry to every game for them and friend or family member.

Mark Johnson, Storm Director said:

‘The volunteer recruitment evening will be a fantastic opportunity for people to find out more about how they can be part of an iconic name in British Ice Hockey. Our volunteers will have great fun and really enjoy the work they do as an integral part of the Storm and as a bonus they’ll make good friends along the way.’

On the evening potential volunteers will have the opportunity to find out more about the Storm and to hear about our plans for the future.
