BBC Radio Ulster Summer Club Darts Challenge

Two of the Giants longest standing members, Jeff Mason and Colin Shields, once again took on the BBC Radio Ulster Summer Club annual Darts Challenge. Both accepted the invite in 2013 with Mason scoring 162 to take the overall title to leave Ulster rugby coach Mark Anscombe in second place on 105. However Colin Shields didn’t fare as well as Mason, managing just 9 from 6 darts. The 2014 tournament gave Mason the chance to win back to back titles – needing to score more than Aimee Fuller, Team GB Snowboarder, who led the way with 125 and also gave Shields the chance to redeem himself from last year’s score.

Dissapointed that I will lose the title of summer club darts champion on BBC Radio Ulster. Good luck to @aimee_fuller as she's in the lead.
