Ballistic Bannon fires home

When Blackburn regular Jordan Bannon returned for the 2014/15 season, he slotted right back in to place as if he had never left.  Jordan’s speed was instrumental in the INVINCIBLES run, and when on the same line as Adam and Luke Brittle at the playoffs the combined speed and effect was absolutely devastating for the defending team.

Blackburn Hawks are pleased to announce that Jordan is returning for another season at the nest.

We look forward to another season of speed and commitment from such a talented young player.

Coach Daniel MacKriel said:

“We are extremely delighted to keep a player of Jordan’s calibre at the Hawks for the new season. He boasts tremendous speed, a brilliant shot and plays with an edge.

Other teams were interested in him during the summer but Jordan has always said he wanted to commit to Blackburn and that says a lot about the club and player.

We will be looking at Jordan to improve his points contributions and I have no doubt that he will as he has bags of talent and the willingness to do so.

He is another key fit in our room and I’m really looking forward to working with him as a coach.”
